Amit Tiwari's amittiwari.net site hacked! Find out how, why, and what you can learn from it in the full real case study.
Hello friends,
Today, we will talk about what Google said very intelligently, but we will have to explain it simply. Google's event in Madrid Search Central Live Event 2025, in which many new things happened.
So let's talk today in this friendly article about what is the real meaning of these announcements, and what should we learn from it.
What is Google saying?
Google kept the theme of this event: Search is not a solved problem. This means, search is still an evolving thing. New platforms are coming, searching habits of users are changing; Hence, they have to change their strategy again and again.
But what does it mean?
Brothers, the simple thing is that we do not abuse Google for AI Overviews.
People no longer have time to go to your site and read a 1,500-word blog. They need the right answers quickly – concise, to-the-point, and context-ready.
Now, if Google won't give, then people will ask ChatGPT!
So what should Google do? He also has to give AI overview so that he can retain the users.
My Opinion:
This is completely correct. User behavior has changed. Now, just writing SEO won't do; you have to add value to the content — otherwise, AI will take away your game.
What does Google say?
If your content is created without effort, without originality, in an automated manner – whether it is through AI, CBI, or any other miraculous shortcut – then Google will no longer consider it.
And this applies not just to text but to images, video, audio — everything.
Now, what does this mean?
Look, brother, if you are in a dilemma after watching YouTube Shorts, “Make a video with AI, do SEO in minutes, you will get 100K views” – then Google has now recognized you.
Those charismatic people who are saying that “Make articles with AI, make videos from it, then make reels” – they should be alert now.
Google has clearly said:
“Value must be added, otherwise no entry”
Two things are worth noting here:
And yes -
Who is writing the AI Overview that Google itself is showing? Kalidas ji? No, brother, those too are being made by AI only.
So our AI is useless, and Google's AI is great?
Why this discrimination, Google brother?
What does E-E-A-T mean?
Google is now taking these four things very seriously. Meaning, just filling keywords will not help. You have to prove that what you are saying has substance.
How will this look in real life?
Suppose you are doing SEO of a cancer doctor's website.
So now your blog should not be posted only under the name “admin”.
Rather:
Show Google that this content No one has read it, I have lived it myself।
Expert Didi's Note:
If your site does not have an “About Us” page or proper profile of the authors, then create it quickly. And fake awards, stock photos – all this will not work anymore!
Google said in a slide that "We are still providing traffic to the websites."
But sister says – Brother, whatever work Bing could not do, you will do it yourself.
Because today's truth is:
🔹Google is no longer a referral platform
🔹 Now he is a competitor
🔹 Featured snippets, AI overviews – these are all ways to put traffic in your pocket
John Mueller, Google's senior search strategist, explains how AI overviews are created using a beautiful graphic.
Our answer? Brother, we can make a graphic, too! And if you think our graphic is closer to the truth, don't forget to comment.
Google said, “No optimizations required to appear in AI overview.”
Our question: What do you mean, brother? Are you saying that all this is happening "on a whim"? That means no logic, no system at all? Or do you not want us to understand its logic? Lest it be revealed how all this is made?
And again the same thing – impressions and clicks coming from AI Overview are in Search Console… but not showing them separately. Why brother?
Is it possible that only 9-10 clicks are coming from those lakhs of impressions, and this should not be revealed to the world?
Google said – If you do not want your site to appear in AI Overview, then on the page no snippet, enter meta tag.
And if Google doesn't train its AI models from your website, robots.txt in Google-Extended Disallow it.
Our answer:
Brother, what to hide now? Your AI has already consumed so much content that it is now writing code, making poetry, and even excuses! Now, what will happen with "no snippet"?
Google said – Schema Markup is very important, even in the AI world. With this, Google understands and indexes your content better.
Need Answer:
Look, brother, we also like Schema very much. We keep teaching people day and night, “Use JSON-LD, Use Structured Data,” but the thing is that you understand our content through schema, then use it in AI Overview and do not even give us traffic.
So, at least tell us how much data was used from our website and how many clicks we got.
Once you tell us the exact number, we will make ten Schema videos for free and will also give you the WordPress plugin!
Google will now show Discover Feed on desktop too.
Happiness of news websites: Brother, your face blossomed like a rose!
Need response:
We're not roses, and 90% of most news sites' traffic comes from mobile anyway. So Desktop Discover won't make much difference.
But one point is very interesting: AI Overview will not come in Discover yet. But it won't come "now"… there is no guarantee further. And we all know how Google keeps its promises
Even in the AI Overview, we were not told how much traffic is coming from there.
Meaning – We are getting features which we do not want and we are not getting those which we want.
Look, we believe that Google is a business, and it also needs to grow its products. But we, content creators, website owners, and SEO professionals, also have some rights.
If you are reducing traffic through AI Overview, at least let us know.
From Schema to Robots.txt, we'll set it all up – just be a little transparent.
It means that search is still evolving. With new technologies, platforms, and user behavior, Google has to constantly adapt its search strategies.
Not necessarily. Google doesn’t prohibit AI-generated content, but it must be useful, original, and created with effort. Low-effort, spammy, or lazy content won’t be accepted.
E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) ensures that content comes from credible, real sources. It’s a way to promote quality over quantity in search results.
AI Overviews can answer queries directly, which might reduce clicks to websites. This makes it crucial to create high-value content and track AI Overview impressions in Search Console.
You can add a 'nosnippet' meta tag to your pages, or disallow Google-Extended in your robots.txt file to prevent your content from being used in AI Overviews and model training.
Schema Markup helps Google understand your content better. It improves indexing, enables rich results, and may even influence AI-generated answers based on structured data.
For some publishers, desktop Discover may bring additional traffic. However, most traffic still comes from mobile. Note that AI Overviews are not yet included in Discover feeds.
GA4 offers new features like event-based tracking and predictive analytics, but many users still miss Universal Analytics’ simplicity and transparency. Both have pros and cons.
